The CSCTA hosted their Annual General meeting for the fiscal year of September 1, 2013 – August 31, 2014 in Toronto on Tuesday March 31, 2015. Over 55 coaches attended the meeting where elections took place for the CSCTA Board of Directors.
The elections saw Dean Boles (Ontario), David Fry (Nova Scotia) and Dave Johnson (Alberta) re-elected to two year terms while Cathy Pardy (Ontario) from the Oakville Aquatic Club was elected as the newest CSCTA Board Member. The Board will meet in late May or early June to determine specific portfolio positions for each member.
The CSCTA Board of Directors and staff would like to thank Bill Humby (Alberta) for his service, support and contributions to the CSCTA in his Board roles as VP Operations, President and Director at Large between 2008 and 2014. He resigned from the Board in the Fall of 2014 to focus his energies on other projects and commitments. Thank you Bill!
During the meeting the membership also approved an official, legal name change from the Canadian Swim Coaches Association to the Canadian Swimming Coaches & Teachers Association.
