BROADBEACH, AUSTRALIA--The Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association (ascta) has named John Fowlie as Coach of the Year for 2010. His work with Alicia Coutts and Alicia's 5-gold medals at the 2010 Commonwealth Games was cited in the awarding.

John Fowlie is a dual citizin between Canada and Australia and is a former swimmer with the Vancouver Pacific Swim Club.
