Todd Melton, Head Coach of the Foothills Stingrays Swim Club in Okotoks, Alberta has been named as a finalist for the Cambell's Chunky Most Valuable Coach contest.

About Todd
Todd Melton is the head coach for the Foothills Stingrays Swim Club, an amateur club based in Okotoks, Alberta, that offers both competitive and non-competitive swim programs for youth ages six to eighteen. With seven years experience, Todd has been with the Foothills Stingrays for the last two years. Since Todd’s arrival at the club, the team has won numerous awards including the Group 2 Team Title at the 2009 Provincial Championships for competitive swimmers fourteen and under. He was also awarded the 'Desperado Award' in September. This award is voted on by fellow coaches in the province as to who they thought did the best overall coaching job while providing a quality program that contributes to the provincial program in Alberta. His commitment to the team and its success is unwavering, as stated by one of his young athletes “He [Todd] puts in extra hours because he really cares about us improving.”
