There are still over 500 coaches who have not yet completed the registration process by answering the CSCTA screening questions and confirming their personal information. If you have coaches in your club who are having trouble with their registration please have them contact me at chris@cscta.org.

CSCTA AGM:
The 2010 Annual General Meeting of the CSCTA will be taking place on Friday November 26, 2010 between heats and finals of the Canada Cup. Election for four positions on the Board of Directors will take place at this time.
CSCTA Speedo Awards Social:
The 2010 CSCTA Awards Social will take place at the Wild Goose Bar & Grill in Toronto on Friday November 26, 2010 following finals of the Canada Cup. During this time the 2009-2010 Speedo Domestic Excellence Awards will be presented. This event is sponsored by Speedo and Team Aquatic Supplies.
2010 Canada Cup – Toronto:
The 2010 Canada Cup – Toronto will take place next week, November 26-28, 2010 in Etobicoke. More information including live results will be available online at www.swimming.ca.
SNC Big Splash:
The 2010 Big Splash Awards show will take place on Monday November 29, 2010 in Toronto. This event will be hosted by Much Music’s Trevor Boris and featuring headline performance by Shawn Desman.

MOvember:
The month formerly known as November is almost over but thousands of Canadian men are donating their face to the cause and raise money for prostate cancer research. Several coaches have joined the cause and will be sporting their “MO’s” in Toronto at the Canada Cup. If you are participating and want to join the CSCTA “team” visit http://ca.movember.com/mospace/520496/. Here you can also donate to the CSCTA Team which currently has 8 members and has raised almost $ 4 000.00.
FINA approves 149 suits in October:
The list of approved swimsuits is now at 708 entries, following the addition of 149 suits in October 2010. The additions came in 6 different updates during the month. All suits added in October have retroactive "valid from" dates of July 2010.

Coaches’ Olympic Oath
ACAPULCO, MEXICO--The Executive Board of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) held its fourth meeting of 2010 in Acapulco and decided to add a Coaches’ oath to the Opening ceremonies. This will most likely be similar to the athletes’ and judges oaths that are already a part of the ceremony.

WADA publishes 2011 Prohibited list
MONTREAL, CANADA--The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) published the 2011 list of prohibited substances. This list will go into effect on January 1, 2011. It can be found on the WADA website via here:

Ticket prices for 2012 Olympics announced:
LONDON, UK--The organizers of the 2012 Olympics have announced the ticket prices for those Games in London July 27-August 12, 2012.
Ticket pricing structures for Aquatics events are:
-Swimming--finals: £450 / £295 / £185 / £95 / £50
-Swimming--prelims: £150 / £95 / £65 / £40 / £20
-Open Water: £60 / £40 / £20

2012 Olympic Schedule Announced:
-Swimming: July 28-August 4
-Open Water: August 9+10
-Diving: July 29-August 1, August 3-11

Closing Ceremonies are Sunday, August 12.

ACEIN
L’assemblée générale annuelle de l’ACEIN:
L’assemblée générale annuelle de l’ACEIN se tiendra vendredi le 26 novembre, 2010 après les préliminaires de la Coupe Canada. Il y aura élection pour quatre positions sur le comité exécutif lors de l’assemblée.
La soirée de l’ACEIN:
La soirée des méritas 2010 de l’ACEIN aura lieu au Wild Goose Bar & Grill à Toronto, vendredi le 26 novembre après les finales de la Coupe Canada. À cette soirée les Méritas de Speedo pour la saison 2009-2010 aura lieu. Cet évènement est commandité par Speedo et Team Aquatic Supplies.
Coupe Canada 2010 – Toronto:
La Coupe Canada 2010 – Toronto se tiendra du 26 au 28 novembre à Etobicoke. Toute information regardant cette compétition ainsi que les résultats seront disponible sur internet à www.swimming.ca .
Le Grand Splash:
Le Grand Splash 2010 aura lieu Lundi le 29 novembre à Toronto. L’hôte pour cet évènement est nul autre que Trevor Boris de Much Music et le musicien Shawn Desman fera aussi partie de cet évènement :

Mouvembre:
Le mois de Mouvembre tir à sa fin et plusieurs milliers d’hommes canadien ont donné leur visage à cette cause afin de lever des fonds pour la recherche sur le cancer de la prostate. Plusieurs entraîneurs ont joint l’équipe de l’ACEIN et vont montrer leur ‘’Mou’’ à Toronto à la Coupe Canada. Si vous participez et voulez joindre l’équipe de l’ACEIN visitez http://ca.movember.com/mospace/520496/ . Vous pouvez aussi donner des fonds à notre équipe ; dont les 8 membres ont déjà amassé plus de $4 000.00.

Serment Olympique des Entraîneurs
ACAPULCO, MEXIQUE -- Le comité exécutif du CIO (Comité International Olympique) a tenu sa quatrième assemblée de 2010 à Acapulco et a décidé d’ajouter le Serment des Entraîneurs à la cérémonie d’ouverture. Ce serment sera vraisemblablement similaire aux serments des athlètes et des officiels qui font déjà parti du protocole de la cérémonie d’ouverture.

La liste 2011 des interdictions de l’AMA est maintenant publiée
MONTREAL, CANADA—La liste 2011 des substances et methods interdites, approuvée le 18 septembre par le Comité exécutif de l’AMA (Agence Mondial Antidopage), est désormais disponible. Cette liste entrera en vigueur le 1er janvier 2011. Cette liste est disponible sur le site suivant:

LONDRES, UK-- Le comité organisateur des Jeux Olympiques de 2012 a dévoilé le prix des billets pour les Jeux Olympiques de Londres du 27 juillet au 12 aôut 2012.
Prix des épreuves aquatiques sont:
