Randy Bennett, Victoria, and Jozsef Nagy, Vancouver, have been named as recipients of the 2009 Petro-Canada Coaching Excellence Awards.

Bennett wins the award for the third consecutive year for the performances of Ryan Cochrane at the 2009 World Championships where he collected a Bronze medal in the men's 800 freestyle and a silver in the men's 1500 free. 

Nagy, a first time recipient, is recognized for the performances of Annamay Pierse at the 2009 World Championships where she collected a silver medal in the women's 200 breaststroke after breaking the world record in the event during the semi finals.
